Heartfelt Rings by Tiny Owl Knits
LOVE these! Heartfelt Rings from Stephanie Dosen of Tiny Owl Knits are an ideal in-between project. They’re quick and easy to make consisting of just 7 rows – the hearts are added using duplicate stitch. Be sure to use fingering weight 100% wool to ensure proper felting – any yarns containing nylon, acrylic, or which are described as ‘superwash’ are not suitable for this project… Check your stash – these hardly take any yarn at all! Along with clear instructions in her signature style, Stephanie has provided videos to guide you through the process. Careful, once you start, you may not be able to stop making these…
Super Easy Baby Blanket by Purl Soho
We are often asked for blanket pattern suggestions which are modern in style but comforting and cozy and squishy soft. This garter stitch Super Easy Baby Blanket from Purl Soho is stunning in its simplicity and fits all of these requirements! Basic stripes create a high-impact blanket great for stroller, car seat, and crib. We think this would be beautiful knit up in solids from MillaMia yarn or hand-dyed Yellow Label DK from Tanis Fiber Arts. Both are soft 100% merino perfect for little ones. Any babies needing blankets on your horizon?
