In this week from SweetGeorgia Yarns – January 16, 2013 – Posted in: New in Store, Project Ideas
It’s always a happy day when boxes arrive from SweetGeorgia Yarns. Founded by Felicia Lo, SweetGeorgia is a Canadian company (based in Vancouver) which produces intensely saturated hand-dyed luxury knitting yarns and spinning fibres. In addition to topping up our extensive inventory of Tough Love Sock, Cash Luxe Fine, and CashSilk Lace, this week’s delivery brought one of SweetGeorgia’s latest additions – Silk Mist – an exquisite laceweight blend of fine kid mohair and silk.
If you’d like to learn more about Felicia and her company, visit her website or view her new video “Inside SweetGeorgia” here. We don’t often get a behind-the-scenes look at where our hand-dyed yarns come from so this is a treat!

Nice to see you have some Tough Love Socks in Tourmaline there… It looks like I’ll need an extra skein to complete my baby blanket… Silk Mist looks yummy too… 🙂

Thanks for showing the yarn as an actual garment. That is so helpful in choosing yarn.
