Madelinetosh Pashmina has landed! February 21, 2013 – Posted in: New in Store, Project Ideas
After a long wait, Madelinetosh Pashmina has finally arrived in a spectacular range of glowing colours. A luscious hand-dyed blend of 75% superwash merino wool, 15% silk and 10% cashmere, the composition of this yarn is similar to that of the famous woven pashmina scarves. Knit up, Pashmina produces an incredibly soft fabric with lovely drape suitable for lots of different types of garments and accessories.
Length: 360 yards / 329 meters
Gauge: 22 – 24 = 4 inches
Suggested needle size: U.S. 3 – 5 or 3.25 – 3.75mm
I’ve been queuing up a Pashmina project dream list for a while now – maybe these will inspire you too…
Row 1: Pecan Crush by Carol Feller / Zuzu’s Petals by Carina Spencer
Row 2: Relax by Ririko / Brooklet by Cecily Gowik MacDonald
Row 3: Mirepoix Cowl by Jennifer Lang / Shalimar by Laura Aylor
If you’re interested in having some Pashmina for your very own, to avoid disappointment – please don’t hesitate! Our initial shipment of Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light disappeared almost instantly (don’t worry, we’ve placed another order for 64 colours!) and the waiting time for subsequent shipments is unpredictable due to high demand for Madelinetosh yarns!
