New in store: Leinen Los March 20, 2013 – Posted in: New in Store, Project Ideas
Among the many new yarns we’re stocking for spring / summer, Schoppel Wolle’s Leinen Los is the one that we find the most intriguing. This beautiful and unique, slightly felted, single ply yarn is a blend of virgin wool and linen that, according to the Skacel website “yields incredible stitch definition and easy knitting.” You can see in the photos above that the linen is visible in the yarn giving it a tweedy striated look we think will suit many casual warm-weather patterns. Although it has a slightly crunchy feel in the ball, like all linen blends this will soften with wear. I’m looking forward to knitting with this one!
