Free Pattern Friday: Honey Stitch Cowl August 29, 2014 – Posted in: Free Pattern Fridays, Project Ideas

free_honey_stitch_cowl_3 A classic yet modern accessory, the Honey Stitch Cowl by Davina Choy is a visually interesting piece that will elevate the casual and beautifully complement the more formal.  Honey stitch cables bordered by twisted rib edges are knit scarf-style to your desired length and then seamed to create a stunning loop. Note that these cables are easily knit without a cable-needle so you won’t be slowed down in your progress to the finish line. The designer has kindly provided a great video tutorial for casting on, knitting, and finishing on the Canadian Living website.

We think our newly re-stocked Rowan Cocoon, Misti Alpaca Chunky, and Cascade 128 Superwash would all make great choices for this piece!

Enjoy!
