Superior+ Cowl November 27, 2014 – Posted in: Project Ideas, Store Samples
I cast on this cozy little confection back in July and then, for some inexplicable reason, put it down just a few rows away from completion. I found it in an abandoned project bag last night and, in need of a little instant gratification, sat down and finished it up. Based on the free Superior Cowl pattern by Patricia Scribner, I added Lang Mille Colori Baby (held together with Filatura di Crosa Superior) for some added heft. The Superior adds a lovely halo and softens the stunning colour transitions in the Mille Colori and the result is a light and luxurious accessory (merino+silk+cashmere!) perfect for wearing both indoors and out all winter long.
This was meant to be a store sample but I love it so much I’m hanging on to it!
I adjusted the needle size and the number of stitches to compensate for the additional strand of Mille Colori. Note modifications on our project details page on Ravelry.
