TNNA Round-up: Mostly in pictures… June 15, 2016 – Posted in: Events, Miscellaneous
We’re back home after an exciting whirlwind trip to the TNNA show in Washington DC! We reconnected with old friends in the industry and made new many new ones and had a great time placing orders for the Fall. Some fabulous new products will be making their way into the shop over the next few months so be sure to check in here regularly for updates. In the meantime, in case you missed them on Facebook, here some of the photos we snapped at the show…
Knitting in the hotel lobby on arrival (and most nights while at the show) 🙂
Just a few from the TNNA Fashion Show – always fun!
Choosing colours at the Anzula booth…
Loved this display at Blue Sky Fibers…

Aaah, Malabrigo. LOTS of this planned for the Fall.
Kim and her assistant working hard at the beautiful Gleener booth. Some excellent new products from these folks coming soon!
Jo Sharp – we fell hard for the Silk Road Aran…
The newly launched Arranmore yarn from The Fibre Company (80% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk / 14 -17 sts per 4″) – gorgeous! We bought a little of this because it’s ah-mazing but may need to wait for the Canadian dollar to improve before ordering a full complement. Fingers crossed it will be soon!
Koigu – always exquisite!
Cooling off the credit card after day 1 🙂
Weaving, the next big thing. Mark our words…
The heart-stoppingly beautiful Super Bulky from Freia. Yup! We couldn’t resist either.
Thrilled to see that Knit Wear is back in production. One of our favourite mags.
The luscious Manos del Uruguay booth…
Casey and Mary Heather teaching attendees how to get the most out of Ravelry –
ARTFIL represents at their first TNNA show. Beautiful!
Jul Designs – seriously drool-worthy…
SweetGeorgia Party of Five Mini-Skein sets in Tough Love Sock. Swoon. Coming in July 🙂
We ordered lots of roving so get your spindles and wheels ready!
Shibui Knits – need we say more…
Jade Sapphire! Needless to say, we would take all of this home with us if we could!
After many requests – hanger shaped metal sock blockers. Found and ordered!
This is chock full of handy tools and charts. Everyone needs one in their notions pouch.
Heading home – tired and punchy but re-energized too 🙂
