Customer project profile: Alice’s Big Snowy Owl November 15, 2016 – Posted in: Customer Project Profiles, Project Ideas
Meet Alice, who just turned 9, and her Snowy Owl! Her peers were so impressed that she followed a real pattern, in English nonetheless (it is her 4th language) and used dpns!
What is the name of the pattern? Big Snowy Owl by Purl Soho.
What yarns did you use? Cascade Lana Grande.
Did you enjoy knitting this pattern? I really liked it. The hardest thing was using the dpns, it got confusing at times.
What do you like most about the finished project? Alice loves her owl and reported that she was very proud after she did the kitchener stitch and saw that it was invisible. She also really enjoyed that there was a pattern on the body of the owl.

So impressive, Alice! I love that snowy owl and have often thought about knitting it for one of my grand-nephews or nieces. I’m glad to know it was such a fun knit! 🙂
