PEACOCK DRESS (Bilingual Class)

The Peacock Dress by Pernille Larsen is a lovely lace dress knitted in the round from the bottom up. The sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch, and are joined to the lacy skirt at the underarm. Pattern sizes range from 6-9 months to 6 years old. In this class you will learn how to knit a lace pattern, to read a lace chart, how to use a lifeline and also, how to knit the sleeves using the magic loop method. Required materials:  Pattern (available on Ravelry),  circular needle sizes 2.75 or 3 mm or size to obtain gauge, 458 m to 1400 m of fingering weight yarn depending on size of garment chosen, stitch holders, stitch markers, 3mm crochet hook, darning needle and 1 button. Prerequisites: knit, purl, yo, ssk, k2tog, k3tog, (advanced beginners / intermediate knitters will be most comfortable in this class).

TRICOT 101 (English Class)

Join us for this 3-week learn to knit class and we will have you knitting and purling in no time! Tricot 101 will introduce you to the basic techniques of knitting (knit, purl, cast on, bind off) and explain the fundamentals of knitting theory and terminology. By the end of the course you will have all you need to begin your first project! Prerequisites: none

ANTLER MITTENS (Bilingual Class)

The Antler Mittens (in toddler to adult sizes) are knit with chunky yarn and are a fun, quick introduction to cable knitting. You will learn to use either double pointed needles or the magic loop method, how to read a chart, and how to knit cables. Prerequisites: CO, knit, purl, BO (comfortable beginner knitter). Required materials: pattern by tincanknits; chunky yarn in the quantity necessary for the chosen size; size 4mm and 5mm needles or size to get gauge (either double pointed or long circular); cable needle; darning needle.
