If we haven’t blabbed about it enough already, let us take this opportunity to share withyou once again that we were thrilled to add Brooklyn Tweed yarns to our inventory at the beginning ofJanuary :-) . We have been thoroughly enjoying getting to know Shelter, Loft, and Arbor and are working on knitting up new samples for the store in each quality.

One of thefirst projects we’ve settled on is Jared Flood’s beautiful High Pines Cowl. Knit with Arbor, therib and knit-purl textures of this shaped cowl (wider at the shoulders and slightly narroweraroundthe neck) create a tailored and intricate-looking cowl with motifs that echo the shapes of alpine evergreens. Irresistible!

We’ve opted to knit our version up in the Potion colourway (a deep red) but, as you can imagine, itwasn’tan easy decision. Thispattern isa stunner no matter the shade!
