SHIPPING RATES AND STORE POLICIES

Please take a moment to review our policies below. We reserve the right to update or modify these policies at any time and encourage you to review them whenever you use our site.

CURRENCY AND PAYMENT

We are a Canadian site and all transactions are charged in Canadian dollars. US dollar prices are shown for reference only and are based on real-time daily exchange rates. Please note that if you are purchasing from outside Canada, your credit card company will convert to your currency using the current international exchange rate plus a potential fee depending on your credit card.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. If you prefer not to enter your credit card information online, we are happy to speak to you in person ? just call us at (514) 486-5648 to place your order.

SHIPPING

All orders are shipped via Canada Post. We will ship your order within three business days (often sooner!). If an item is out of stock or if there is a question about your order, we will contact you via email and/or telephone. Please note that, unfortunately, Espace Tricot cannot be responsible for packages that do not arrive. International orders may be subject to customs and other fees.

For delivery within Canada:

Orders within Canada are sent Expedited Parcel; they are trackable and insured up to $100.

For orders up to $199.99 before taxes – $15
For orders of $200.00 or more before taxes – FREE SHIPPING!

For delivery to the Continental US:

Orders to the US are sent Small Package Air; they are not trackable or insured. If insurance is desired, please leave a note in the Comment Section on checkout (or call or e-mail us) and we will add the cost.

For orders up to $199.99 before taxes – $15
For orders of $200.00 or more before taxes – FREE SHIPPING!

For International delivery including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico:

Orders to international locations other than the Continental US are sent Air Mail if less that 2 kilograms. Orders greater than 2 kilograms are sent via Ground. International orders are not trackable or insured. If insurance is desired, please leave a note in the Comment Section on checkout (or call or e-mail us).

For orders under 2 kg and up to $100.00 before taxes – $25
For orders under 2 kg and between $100.01 and $199.99 before taxes – $35
For orders under 2 kg and $200.00 or more before taxes – $45

Please note that orders over 2 kg are sent ExpressPost with tracking and insurance and can cost between $100 and $120. Should additional fees apply, we will contact you before processing your order.

SALES TAX

Sales taxes are based on the shipping address of your order within Canada. Sales taxes are not applied to US and other international orders.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We are happy to accept returns on yarn for store credit within 90 days of purchase if unused, in original condition, and with the original receipt.

A store credit will be issued when your return is received. Return shipping charges are not refundable, unless your order was filled incorrectly. We cannot assume responsibility for exchanged items lost or damaged in shipping.

Please note that we cannot accept exchanges or returns on needles, accessories, notions, or sale items.

COLOURS

We have made every effort to present yarn colours as accurately as possible. Due to variations in dye lots and because computer monitors display colour differently, there may be some inconsistencies.

ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS

Mistakes happen. Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time (including after you have submitted your order).

CLASS POLICIES

Enrollment and Registration

Class sizes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The class fee is required to reserve your spot.

All required class materials are available for purchase in store but feel free to bring in your own! If you do need to purchase materials, please do so well in advance to ensure that classes can begin on time. For classes held in L?Atelier Espace Tricot outside store hours, it is not possible to shop during the class.

If we need to cancel a class, we will generally contact you by email. However, we may need to contact you at short notice, so please ensure to provide a phone number and email address where we can reach you during the day.

Cancellations

We require a minimum of 3 people per class. Full refunds will be issued if the class is cancelled or if you withdraw at least five days prior to the start date. Cancellations made with less than 5 days notice are non-refundable.

Missed Classes

We are unable to offer make-ups or credit for missed classes.
