A beautiful and unusual silk and mohair yarn, Champagne is a combination of a single ply of shiny silk wrapped with a strand of fluffy mohair and nylon to create a yarn with a wonderful handle and luxurious drape. Despite the textured appearance of the yarn in the skein, it knits up into a smooth and even fabric with luxurious drape and a soft halo.
Ideal for shawls, accessories and other garments.
Hand wash is recommended - Lay flat to dry.
Each skein is individually hand-dyed in Quebec. If you need more than one skein for a project, it is recommended to alternate skeins every other row for a more uniform result. Although every effort is made to rinse each skein well, as with any hand-dyed yarn it is possible that some more saturated colours will slightly bleed.
