Suitable for adventurous beginners, learn the basics of two-colour stranded colourwork knitting in this intro class. You will learn to read colour work charts, carry your floats and manage tension, and have the confidence to approach new stranded colour-work patterns.

Required materials: sample knit in DK-weight yarn in two colours, on 16” / 40 cm 3.5mm or 4mm circular needles.
Preparation: Participants must come to class with the following working sample : Cast on 100 sts, join to knit in the round, and knit at least 1” / 2.5 cm in stockinette.
Pre-requisites: Level 2: must be confident knitting the round.
