Feederbrook Farm is best-known for the 2-ply DK yarn line called ENTROPY, designed to mimic the look of handspun yarn. Light and lofty, this yarn flourishes at many gauges - we've knit it at various tensions between 19 and 24 stitches. Please note due to the gorgeous nature of this yarn, no two skeins are exactly the same. If you order more than one of a colour, we'll do our best to match them but you will see some differences between skeins. We have tried to show this variation in the product photos here.
Located in northern Maryland, Feederbrook Farm was established in 1970, and keeps an eclectic display flock consisting of Shetland Sheep, BFL, Teeswaters, Clun Forest, Cormo, Corriedale, Gotland, Romanov, and Leicester Longwool. Committed to creating the best locks, the majority of the flock is a cross between Teeswater with the BFL (lovingly nicknamed BLTees.)
